I know that this type of behaviour happens a lot in the homebuilder sub-culture, but has been very rarely documented. The behaviour I'm talking about is "Garage Flying" ...that irrepressable urge to get into the air before the aircraft is completed. I'm sure you know what I mean....
Perhaps you think that the original inspiration for garage flying resulted from drinking too much alcohol and a lack of respect for the 8 hours bottle to throttle rule! (... or was that 8 metres?) Nothing could be further from the truth. After many long hours in the workshop in sometimes freezing conditions and after a few cups of coffee, your imagination tends to run wild.
