	BRUNY ISLAND HISTORICAL SOCIETY Proposed calendar of Events 2008 - 2009 October: Native orchid and wildflower walk. 1. Thursday 9^th. 2. Saturday 11^th. Commencing from Cheverton homestead 10.30am. BYO picnic. Two days to cater for extra interest expected to be generated by the book launch on 14^th September of Orchids of Bruny Island by Allegra Biggs Dale. Congratulations to Allegra for bringing this inspiring project to fruition and soon to our bookshelves.
