The primary aims of Boroondara Bushwalkers are to:

• Pursue the sports of bushwalking and related outdoor activities, providing opportunities for members to improve their general health and fitness while enjoying the bush and mountains.
• Encourage a wider appreciation and better understanding of nature and the environment and to assist with their preservation.
• Provide opportunities for members to learn new skills such as bush navigation and leadership.

Through the Club’s activities, members also enjoy social interaction with people with a wide variety of interests and skills.
