Club Meetings:

The Club holds a regular meeting for members at 8:00 pm on the third Wednesday of each month. Visitors are welcome at these meetings and should arrive by 7:45 pm.

Wed 15 Feb CLUB MEETING -

Phyllis Hore room, adjacent to Kew Library, Cotham Road.
Barbara Perugini and Ilga Haase talk about their 300 km Coast to Coast Walk in England.

Wed 21 Mar CLUB MEETING -

Phyllis Hore room, adjacent to Kew Library, Cotham Road.
Liz Manton and John Sheridan will talk about their five-day walk in August 2011 in the northern section of the Kungsleden Trail in Swedish Lapland, 300km above the Arctic Circle. This area is not widely known, but the walking is not hard and the scenery is spectacular.
There are multiple options for doing the walk from pack carrying everything (what Liz and John did) to staying in well-spaced (in terms of walking distance) huts, sometimes with attached saunas!

Wed 18 Apr CLUB MEETING -

Phyllis Hore room, adjacent to Kew Library, Cotham Road.
Maya Ward, author of “The comfort of water – a river pilgrimage” published in 2011, will speak of her 21 day pilgrimage along the Yarra River from the sea to its source near Mount Baw Baw. Maya will have copies of her book available for sale.

Wed 16 May CLUB MEETING -

Phyllis Hore room, adjacent to Kew Library, Cotham Road.
Including Annual General Meeting.
