Democracy at Risk

Welcome

Australia in the 21st Century: Is Democracy at Risk?

The ideas of economists and political philosophers, both when they are right and when they are wrong, are more powerful than is commonly understood. Indeed the world is ruled by little else. Practical men, who believe themselves to be quite exempt from any intellectual influences, are usually the slaves of some defunct economist.

Will Australia become A Democratic Society or A Capitalist State?

Is Australia now at the crossroads?

Is democracy in Australia at risk through reliance on economic management?

Is economic growth a means to an end or is it the end in itself?

These are some of the questions to be considered on this site.
